With nearly two decades of experience in the real estate industry, Stephanie brings extensive knowledge, leadership, and a deep passion for supporting her team. Stephanie’s Professional Journey
Stephanie joined Bay Property Management Group, a property management company in Austin, in January following an acquisition. While she may be new to BMG, she is no stranger to property management. Before her current role, she worked at Stone Oak Property Management, where she served as a Property Manager and Director of Field Operations.
Stephanie has spent the last 20 years immersed in all aspects of real estate, holding roles across various specialties—from being a Licensed Realtor to working in home inspections, Home Energy CAD design, utilities, and even an engineering firm. Her broad expertise in the industry, combined with her leadership skills, makes her an invaluable asset to the BMG team.
A Day in the Life of Stephanie
A Day in the Life of StephanieAs the Director of Property Management, Stephanie oversees an amazing team of property managers, ensuring they have the tools, resources, and support needed to succeed. She works hard to foster a collaborative environment, educating her team on laws, property code, conflict resolution, and effective communication techniques that help them navigate challenges with confidence.
Stephanie’s day starts bright and early—around 5:15-5:30 AM! She arrives before her team to get settled, prepare for the day, and send morning messages to motivate them. Throughout the day, she tackles emails, takes calls, and works closely with property managers one-on-one to assist with issues, ensuring that every department has the guidance needed to thrive. And, of course, she powers through the day with plenty of Red Bulls—a signature part of her routine!
What Stephanie Loves About BMG
For Stephanie, one of the most rewarding aspects of her job is mentoring and empowering her team. She shares industry lessons, provides guidance, and offers scripts, tips, and tricks to help property managers handle challenging owner and tenant situations with confidence. She finds immense fulfillment in watching her team grow and seeing them uplift one another with kudos and praise for jobs well done.

Getting to Know Stephanie Outside the Office
When she’s not working, Stephanie is all about family and adventure. She loves spending time with her four kids and her boyfriend, traveling to new destinations, and exploring restaurants, hiking trails, and fishing spots. Whether in the mountains or at the beach, she’s always looking for her next great outdoor adventure!
One bucket list item she hopes to check off soon? Seeing the Northern Lights in Scandinavia and becoming a published author.
If she could meet anyone, Dolly Parton is at the top of her list! She admires her legendary career and infectious positivity.
Her favorite books? To Kill a Mockingbird and Little Women, two timeless classics.
And if she could dis-invent one thing, it would be impossible-to-open plastic packaging. As a strong advocate for sustainability, she’s all for reducing plastic waste.
Stephanie’s Advice for Industry Newcomers
Stephanie encourages those entering the property management field to practice patience and kindness—a small pause before responding can make all the difference.
Her biggest advice? “Never stop learning, never stop asking questions, and always share your knowledge!”
